Shannon Clark has been involved in the health and fitness industry for the last 10 years, helping others achieve their goals. Her love of physical fitness started out in the early days when she was a competitive figure skater, which she continued to pursue up until her last year of high school.
After hanging up her blades, she felt there was a serious void in her life and missed the physical activity that skating used to provide. This led her to a local gym where she fell in love with strength training. She then made the decision to pursue a degree in Exercise Science and Sports Performance and throughout her degree, she also become a certified personal trainer and started helping others with their own fitness journey.
At the same time, she got involved with some health and fitness writing work, which led her to many great opportunities in this field.
Today she spends the vast majority of her time helping others through her writing and currently still works with a few individuals in person or online with their bodyweight goals.
One of her primary interests lies in the area of nutrition and dieting, assessing all the various techniques that can be utilized to change the body. Now she’s able to apply this knowledge in a practical sense, providing customized advice to others looking to gain or lose weight.
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys her own personal workouts, reading, comedy movies, cooking and baking.
